BEIJING, April 1, 2010 -- Lotus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB: LTUS) ("Lotus" or the "Company"), a growing developer, manufacturer and seller of medicine and drugs in the People's Republic of China (the "PRC") reported that its 2009 net earnings were approximately $16.4 million, or $0.33 per diluted share, compared with approximately $12.8 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, in 2008.

LEXINGTON, Ky., April 1, 2010 -- VHGI Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: VHGI) announced today that its subsidiary, VHGI Gulf Coast Holdings, LLC has signed an agreement with the Trustee for Sterling Exploration & Production Company, L.L.C. and Yazoo Pipeline Co., L.P. to purchase all of the assets from such entities for $4.5 million in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy sale.
VHGI Holdings, Inc. closed at $0.15 Thursday, trading 220,550 shares.
